Book this exhilarating and rewarding experience at the picturesque Yarra Ranges National Park! Conquer your fears as you make your decent off Ben Cairn, a popular cliff for abseiling located 1,000m above Warburton near the peak of Mount Donna Buang. At an elevation of 1250m Mount Donna Buang is the tallest peak closest to Melbourne, approximately a 75 minute drive from the CBD, and is a popular spot for outdoor adventures.

The abseiling site is accessed via a short 300m walk up a steep mountain track, which leads to a rocky outcrop with a heavily forested view looking out over the valley below. Our experienced guides will be with you to ensure your safety throughout the experience. They’ll kit you out with a harness and helmet, run you through a safety briefing, and demonstrate correct abseiling techniques. Once you’ve got a handle on the basics’ we will commence the activity progressing to a forward facing abseil if you dare!

Please note an alternative abseiling site is used during the winter months due to road closures. This activity is a great introduction to abseiling and is best suited for adventurers aged 10+.

Ship Rock is located in the picturesque Kurth Kiln Regional Park and offers a fantastic introduction to both climbing and abseiling. In this adventure you'll make your way to the top of a house sized boulder and then abseil back.

Book this unique and challenging abseil experience in the history filled Kurth Kiln Regional Park. In this adventure you'll climb to the top of a large house sized boulder and then abseil back down attempting different pitches each time. The height of the abseils are between 12m - 15m, perfect for those who are new to abseiling but are up for a challenge. 

The site is accessed via an easy 100m walk from the picnic area car park down the McCrae Creek waterfall track. The waterfall is also well worth checking out whilst visiting the Park, and conveniently it's only a short stroll from the abseil site. At the start of the adventure our experienced guides will kit you out with a harness and helmet, run you through a safety briefing, and demonstrate correct abseiling techniques. Once you’ve got a handle on the basics’ we will commence the activity. Our guides will be with you every step of the way to provide helpful tips and hints and ensure your safety throughout the experience. 

This activity is best suited for adventurers aged 8+.

Abseiling is a super fun and thrilling activity. Geared specifically towards our youngest explorers looking to have their first abseiling experience, this activity is ideal for 5 – 8 year-olds.

Abseiling is a super fun and thrilling activity. Geared specifically towards our youngest explorers looking to have their first abseiling experience, this activity is ideal for 5 – 8 year olds. The site is accessed via a short 300m bush walk, which opens up to a picturesque rocky outcrop downstream of the Britannia Creek Weir surrounded by a bubbling creek. 

Our experienced guides will kit you out with a harness and helmet, run you through a safety briefing, and demonstrate correct abseiling techniques. Once you’ve got a handle on the basics we will commence the activity. Our guides will continue to offer plenty of useful tips and pointers to help build your confidence throughout the activity. 

If you're after more of a challenge, are aged 8 and above, and can see yourself abseiling down a 12m rock face or 30m cliff then please contact us for more information and bookings as we use a range of different sites and have plenty of adventures suitable for you.
