Ship Rock Abseiling Adventure

A unique and challenging abseil experience in the picturesque Kurth Kiln Regional Park.

Walk the waterfall trail towards your safe, guided abseiling adventure atop Ship Rock.

Climb to the top of a large house sized boulder and then abseiling back down attempting different pitches each time. The height of the abseils are between 12m - 15m, perfect for those who are new too abseiling but are up for a challenge. The site is accessed via an easy 100m walk from the picnic area car park down the McCrae waterfall track. The waterfall is also well worth checking out whilst visiting the Park, and is conveniently located just a short stroll from the abseil site.

At the start of the adventure your experienced guides will kit you out with a harness and helmet, run you through a safety briefing, and demonstrate correct abseiling techniques. Once you've got a handle on the basics you’ll commence the activity. Your guides will be with you every step of the way providing helpful tips and hints and ensuring your safety throughout the activity.

Britannia Creek Weir Abseiling Adventure

First-timers abseiling experience just for kids, ages 5 - 8.

This adventure is geared specifically towards our youngest adventurers looking to have their first abseiling experience.

It has been designed to equip kids with the skills and technique they need to attempt their first ever abseil. The site is accessed via a short 300m bush walk, which opens up to a picturesque rocky outcrop downstream of the Britannia Creek Weir surrounded by a bubbling creek.

Your experienced guides will kit you out with a harness and helmet, run you through a safety briefing, and demonstrate correct abseiling techniques. Once you’ve got a handle on the basics’ we will commence the activity. Your guides will continue to offer plenty of useful tips and pointers to help build your confidence throughout the activity.

If you’re after more of a challenge, are aged 8 and above and can see yourself abseiling down a 12m rock face or 30m cliff then please contact us for more information and bookings as we use a range of different sites and have plenty of adventures suitable for you.

Donna Double Mountain Bike & Abseil Adventure

Ride, abseil, ride. Experience Mount Donna Buang like never before.

We’ve called this one the Donna Double and it’s not for the faint of heart. 

Descend 6 km downhill through stunning Mountain Ash forest with the occasional panoramic view out over the valley below. Disembark at Ben Cairn, a popular site for abseiling located above Warburton. The abseil site is accessed via a 300m steep track, which leads to a rocky outcrop with heavily forested view of the valley below.

Here our guides will kit you out with a harness and helmet, run you through a safety briefing and demonstrate correct abseiling techniques. Once you’ve got a handle on the basics, we’ll commence the activity progressing to a forward facing abseil if you dare! This site offers abseils ranging from 15m – 30m.

Once you’ve had a few abseils you’ll hit the trail again riding 12 km along a quiet gravel and bitumen road. We’ll meet you at the junction of Donna Buang Road and Don Road and load up the bikes for your transport back to Warburton.

Our guides will be on hand throughout the activity guiding and assisting you through the adventure.

Seven Acre Rock Abseiling Adventure

A spectacular action packed abseiling adventure awaits. Feel the fear... but do it anyway!


Experience the thrill of abseiling at Seven Acre Rock, a stunning site with panoramic views out over the valley below. The site is accessed via s short 1km walk through giant Mountain Ash forest, which will lead you to a large rocky outcrop. On a clear day you can see all the way out to Western Port Bay and Port Phillip Bay.  In this adventure you’ll put your skills to the test as you lean out over the edge and make your own way down some of the longest and more technical cliffs in the Upper Yarra Valley. 

Our guides will provide you with all the necessary gear for the activity including a harness and helmet, will run you through a safety briefing and demonstrate correct abseiling techniques. You’ll then commence the activity progressing from easier cliffs to more challenging ones. This site offers abseils ranging from 18m – 50m. If you really get the hang of it, you might even want to try facing forwards off the cliff. Now that’ll really spice things up!
